Thankyou for a lovely stay at Amore Luxury Villa - the property was amazing and very clean and well organised. We had a very memorable five day stay and enjoyed every aspect of the house, the large entertaining dining table, the grounds, the surrounds and the spa was great. It was like a home away from home. Fantastic, modern house, close to town but with a really rural feel. Kangaroos in the garden, a huge swim/spa which was such a bonus on the freezing cold days! The house was spotless, with beautiful furnishings.

Superb accommodation in every way! A modern, spacious home with all the necessary comforts and amenities. Excellent heating throughout the home (ideal for winter stays). The hosts have thought of every little detail for both adult and child guests. Great, private location in between Hepburn and Daylesford. Highlights were the outdoor spa (even in the middle of July) and the daily visits from Kangaroos and Wallabies who also enjoyed the large grounds.

We loved this house, and can’t believe we were lucky enough with the weather to be able to enjoy the pool spa and sauna. It was perfect for a girls weekend. It was super comfy and had everything you need . There was nothing we needed that we didn’t have. The beds are super comfy and the kitchen is well stocked.

The property is beautifully styled and a great, comfortable place to relax for a weekend or longer. Close to town (5 mins) and secluded. We stayed in winter so enjoyed the wood heater and fire pit. Equally in summer it would be lovely with the pool.

We had a weekend in heaven at this beautiful house. Everything had been thought about and we had everything we needed for a perfect and very relaxing weekend away. This is a beautiful cottage, renovated very recently with lovely finishes. Located one block from the centre of town, the location is perfect. We were a group of 6 adults and were very comfortable here.

A very lovely and charming little cottage in a great location for a weekend away for two. Well equipped kitchen, comfy bed. If we hadn't been visiting in winter the garden/front deck would have been lovely to sit out on.

Occasionally when travelling you come across a gem! This cottage is one such example. Beautifully presented with features and decorations to make it feel every inch home away from home. The convenience of a remote controlled lock up garage adjacent to the cottage completes this outstanding airbnb. Our only regret was that we booked for 2 nights when we could have easily stayed for much longer. Absolute perfection!

This cottage is cosy, conveniently located- close to town and an easy walk to the lake and had everything you needed and more! We loved the little additions of a moka pot, Bluetooth speaker, safe parking in the garage and electric blankets! Would love to return again!

Absolutely loved our stay here. Made our first time in Daylesford feel that extra special. Sitting around the fireplace and morning coffees out on the deck, watching the alpacas in the paddocks were our highlights. We also loved that we were only a 5-10min drive from main town and the local restaurants. The hosts have really thought of everything you might need on a weekend away…we appreciated the attention to detail. We will definitely be coming back!

This is a truly beautiful property with a lovely outlook. On our two night stay we spent a lot of our time on the back deck overlooking the reserve and large trees, but the surrounding gardens and carefully placed chairs looked gorgeous. Fantastic location, great correspondence, we would highly recommend this place for a girls weekend or other stay. We will be back!

Very stylish and warm home on the very good location, perfect for family trip, you almost got everything you asked for in there and the kids are just love it! We didn't use the hot tub but the cinema room is the high light, the chairs are super comfy and I learned how to play table tennis in there!

A fantastic architect-designed house to stay in Hepburn Springs with thoughtful amenities, great entertainment, and top-notch cleanliness. Highly highly recommended.

The house is stunning! Such beautiful design and attention to detail. We had a wonderful time. The expansive backyard is a tranquil extension of the house that we also loved spending time in, especially at night. The location is also excellent. We highly recommend!

If we could give more stars we’d give St Etienne 8 stars out of 5! The accommodation is superb. For 3 couples it was incredible- each wonderfully comfortable bedroom with its own bathroom. The living area is spacious but welcoming and very comfortable. The kitchen area is so well appointed with a large amount of crockery, serving platters etc. A lovely surprise was the magical back garden which we all loved. The garden lighting was like a fairyland! There’s not a single thing we could think of that needed improving. We will definitely return and have plans in place for a yearly pilgrimage to St Etienne!

My daughter and I had the pleasure of staying four nights at this amazing property. From the chocolates on the beds to the huge jars of chocolate chip cookies and snakes which tempted us every time we stepped into the kitchen. The welcome bottle of wine. The quiet location. Newly renovated. Tastefully decorated. Attention to detail….amazing. Beds were so comfy. Beautiful outlook over the garden. Walking distance to everything. Spotlessly clean. Super cute and cozy house in a fantastic location. The house was prepared for our stay with love and care: wood fire set and ready to light, beds as good as any hotel, milk in the fridge, snacks on the table, diffuser puffing out lovely smells... plus many other lovely welcoming details. The house was also practical. Loads of hot water, heating worked, everything you might need on hand. And the garden was an autumn dream, still just blooming, perfectly tended. Really... we were delighted every day of our stay at Istana on Duke.

Felt like home! It is obvious that a lot of thought has gone into providing ultimate comfort to the guests! Small things that often go unnoticed, for instance, there were 4 different pillows to choose from on our bed! The beds were super comfortable and the doona felt like I was sleeping under a cloud - couldn’t help but ask the host for the details of the bedding! Great kitchen, we cooked all our meals and managed to find the required utensils. The sky looks phenomenal at night, the binoculars and telescope are a beautiful addition. We used them more often than we thought, sometimes just to look at cute little Moses (the alpaca is omnipresent in the paddock just across the home) doing his thing!

A great cottage for a couple in an excellent location. Clean and comfortable and nice and toasty in a cold winter. Great communication and easy access as well as off street parking. We would recommend this cottage and would definitely stay here again.

This was a very clean, modern and cozy little cottage, surrounded by beautiful gardens and set off the road with private parking. Within a block to the main street but quiet and private setting. Loved it

We had a lovely stay at the Circa Ivy Prince, clean house, amenities provided along with snacks to enjoy. You can tell the hosts take pride in their home. Perfect location, is walking distance to Main Street. And has parking on site. We will be back again.

Our mid-week escape (from Ballarat!) to Charlie’s cottage was an absolute treat. Right in the heart of all the action of Daylesford, but nonetheless quiet, we were able to relax in the warmth of the cosy sitting room as well as enjoy morning coffees on the verandah on those crisp sunny mornings. Charlie’s is the perfect base from which to walk to all the best spots - lunch at Larder, lots of wine and cheese from Winespeake, dinners at Bistro Terroir and Beppe, brunch at Cliffy’s... and our favourite shopping at Manteau Noir, Buster McGee and eCasa. We really enjoyed our three nights here.

Charlie’s was the perfect location for our mini-moon in Daylesford! Walking distance to everything, and with a super comfy bed to crash in at the end of the day, we highly recommend Charlie’s for your Daylesford visit 🙂

Look no further if you wanted a great regional/country escape. Charlie’s is oozing with country charm and enhanced my experience for my country getaway. Great interiors, clean amenities and convenient location to the civic centre. There were countless options for brunch and dinner, great boutique shops all are within reach by walking. The nursery next door and the salvos and vinnies down the street was a bonus as I enjoy plants and antiquities. The house was homely and super comfortable- cool on a 37 degree day and warm in crisp chilly morning. I could not asked for a better experience for my birthday than staying here at Charlie’s!

The accommodation is a large open area with a cathedral ceiling, polished concrete floors and a separate bathroom. It's in a beautiful and quiet location and backs directly on to the botanical gardens which can be accessed through a rear gate. It's surrounded by greenery. All in all it's a lovely place to stay.

This is a stylish and comfortable space in a good location, with all the amenities you might need for a short stay. It was lovely to be so close to the Botanical Gardens for a morning walk.

I had such a lovely stay at The Train! It is exactly as you see in the photos; very charming, compact, and stylishly decorated. Extremely cozy bed and linens, all the essentials provided, great kitchen - and the two outdoor spaces in the front and behind the property are so lovely and welcoming! A short walk to the main area of Daylesford (though to note, there is a hill and parts of the path are unpaved, but it is a short walk). Check in was a breeze with a coded lock box, can come and go as you please. Overall, I quite enjoyed my stay in the Train and in Daylesford and can't wait to come back and explore some more.

Great accommodation, being able to take my small dog was a big bonus for me. Was able to shut the gate behind the car so the yard was fully enclosed for the dog to roam around. Close to everything I needed. Thanks for a great stay.

Had a lovely and relaxing stay at The Train. Perfect for a couple weekend away. The glassware is lovely and the bedding is very cute. Enjoyed the stay very much, would definitely recommend.

This place is an amazing stay, it was even bigger than how it looked in photos. Great location being in walking distance from the main strip and close to the botanical Gardens, lakes, etc. Very clean and great place to relax. Highly recommend.

The Stables is a artistic but luxurious place to stay in a central location. It was sparkling clean and very well stocked. We cooked at home several times due to the expansive kitchen. We hope to return in the winter to make use of the fireplace.

This is the only property that I've stayed at where the property looked better in person than in the photos! (Hard to beat, as the photos of this place are pretty incredible.) A 5 minute walk to the town centre or a 1 minute drive if you feel so inclined. The stables were sparkling clean and designed terrifically.

Very well styled and ventilated! Insta perfect shots at every corner of the house. We had a couple of hot summer days during our trip but the house remained cool inside. Definitely one to come back to again

Great warm winter wonder! An abundance of space and ever so central to the little town that is Daylesford! We curled up in front of the fire with a deck of cards for the wet windy weekend, the kitchen was a joy! And the decor was such a vibe! Love it and will be back 🙂

We had a wonderful stay at Amelia house. It was exactly what we needed after an exhausting 2020. The house is simply gorgeous, with all of the amenities and comforts you need. We particularly enjoyed the deluxe spa bath-it was such a treat. Cannot recommend the property highly enough.

If you’re thinking of staying at the Amelia house, just do it!! Absolutely gorgeous luxurious home with all the amenities you need, lots of heating options and the hottest water leaving you to enjoy the most relaxing stay you’ll have! Beautiful view and lots of outdoor area as well as a very spacious home. It has everything you need, the bathtub is a must use. 1 minute drive to the main road, cannot recommend this place enough and will definitely be back again and again! Jenny

Tully’s is a wonderful home just outside the town centre. It has a gorgeous deck overlooking a field and woods where kangaroos roam at dusk. The deck is also perfect for bringing your own telescope, with lovely views of the moon and the western night skies. Inside is very clean and comfortable. The spa tub is huge and it’s great to be able to watch TV while soaking. The beds are also VERY comfortable. Highly recommended if you want peace and quiet that is still conveniently close to town.

The accommodation made our stay so much more enjoyable considering. Modern and comfortable, topped with an open living are that includes a spa and big screen TV. We stayed as a couple with a toddler and had a beautifully relaxing weekend, I would be happy to book here again next time I’m staying in the area.

This was such a lovely little escape. I stayed with my partner for 3 nights. We loved waking up with all the wildlife!! Foxmere is a great place and centrally located to everything. The house is cosy, with two large double bedrooms with electric blankets on the beds. The fire is an added bonus for the cooler evenings with the fire prepared ready for us to light. A really lovely cottage.

Lovely and clean. Tastefully decorated. Everything needed was there. So many options to keep warm which was great as the house was on the chilly side. The electric blankets and supplied firewood were such a bonus. It was great that dogs were allowed inside and they enjoyed the wood fire!!

The weather was wet and almost freezing, and it was a joy to have a wood fire each night. The house was also exceptionally well heated with a heater in each room, electric blankets on the beds, and lots of extra throws/blankets. The kitchen is reasonably well equipped for those wanting to cook and eat in. There is a smart TV with Netflix for nights by the fire. The wifi is strong and works really well. Location is also great for those who like to walk, being virtually across the road from the Lake and a short walk (albeit uphill!) into town.

We have done extensive travels in the past and stayed in many many Airbnb’s around the world. We must say Lithia Guest House is the best we ever stayed in. The views, the location, the open living interiors, the furnishings, the farm and animals, and most importantly the amazing hospitality. We had such an amazing country getaway, thank you .

Lorien was the perfect getaway. With the beautiful fireplace and quiet bush location, it was a dreamy escape from the city. It has everything you need to cook up a storm or just relax on the couch after soaking in the tub.

The Raglan was a very inviting and cosy home. Fireplace was certainly a drawcard for us. The house was roomy and quaint with lots of objects of interest. Beds were very comfortable and cosy. Didn't get a chance to enjoy the outdoors of the house too much as we spent all of our daytime out and about and the weather wasn't too conducive to an alfresco meal or bbq. The home is certainly very convenient to walking into town. Thank you for allowing us to stay here.

This place was in a great location and met our needs marvellously. Easy walks to the pubs and town centre. We stayed over a very hot couple of days and the house wide air conditioning was amazing! Great space in the courtyard too among the trees for lovely local wines from wineries nearby.

We spent 3 nights over NYE in Theresa’s beautiful lodge. Perfectly situated right on Daylesford Lake and a short walk from town, this was the perfect spot to unwind and explore. Fantastic location with views over parkland beside the lake. Morning and evening chorus of huge flocks of white corellas coming home to roost. Nearby cafes and restaurants, including the famous Lake House. The apartment is excellent - modern, clean, and well-decorated with asian-style artworks and antiques scattered throughout. A fantastic lounge leading onto a terrace with outside dining, and an upstairs balcony off the main bedroom, all overlooking the parkland. TWO spa baths - each of the three bedrooms has its own ensuite and all are top quality.

The perfect getaway spot. We enjoyed sitting in front of the fire and walking around Lake Daylesford right outside. Bonus points for king size beds when travelling with a couple of giants. Really nice group spaces and lovely rooms. Great stay spot for a couple of couples. Nice and close to town. It made our stay a very comfortable one

The Grey Goose is a beautiful cottage in every aspect. Wonderful and cosy with everything you need and we loved sitting out on the wonderful sun drenched big deck. I would highly recommend as the location is perfect too . A short stroll to the Hepburn general store for morning coffee and papers or to Rubens for great wood fired pizza. This is a great place to stay! We will return.

A fabulous house in a wonderful location. Just up from the Hepburn Springs centre and a short walk for coffee. The house was so well appointed - with really great attention to detail and everything one could want for a luxurious weekend away. A bath in two rooms, two fireplaces, effective heating and the most comfortable beds. It was VERY, VERY hard to leave.

An incredibly lovely and tranquil escape. Everything was as described, including a fully stocked kitchen (appliances, pots and pans, and the basics), and all rooms were spotless. The tennis court was great, as was just relaxing in the courtyard looking out onto the little vineyard. It was a short walk in to Trentham. The house more than provided enough entertainment. An excellent stay.

Duchess on Duke is really close to all that Daylesford has to offer with a 5 minute walk to the local cafes and shops. Beautiful location and we visited on a freezing cold weekend and the house is really well equipped with a terrific heater and open fire. Its well appointed and super clean on arrival. If you like the old world charm of Daylesford houses this place is for you! We had an enjoyable weekend.

House was spacious and beautifully furnished. The kitchen was well quipped with a nice outlook. Views from the balcony is magnificent. It was relaxing and tranquil walking around the well landscaped gardens.

Hillcrest is an amazingly beautiful property in a beautiful part of Victoria. Essentially mid way between Daylesford and Trentham and with the Wombat State Forest surrounding Lyonville, there is so much on offer nearby (via short drives). The sensational Radio Springs Hotel is also in walking distance from the property. If you’re a lover of gardens, Hillcrest is something special. They surround the house and frame beautiful views to the undulating landscape around you. The kitchen is really well equipped - so if cooking or entertaining are your thing, Hillcrest is perfectly set up you. The house is very spacious and our kids loved this and the outdoor areas with games available for use. There were also cows, geese and goats on the adjoining property which provided added interest for them.

Hillcrest is absolutely stunning. The house itself has everything you could possibly need for your stay. The veggie garden is full of delights, the rest of the garden is so beautifully curated and manicured. We felt very lucky to have a stumbled on such a gorgeous property.

Really wonderful location, such a roomy, classy and sophisticated place. Having internal lockable doors to create a bit of privacy within your travelling party is a great idea. Well appointed on every level - this is sure to be a go-to place for us again in the future. Close to everything - we parked the car and that's where it stayed for just about the whole visit.

Halina is a great place to just kick back and relax. The beds are the just the best and so comfortable. Loved sitting out on the decking area, enjoying a bbq and spending time with good friends. Definitely a keeper. Will be back for sure!

Halina was an ideal size and layout for a girls’ weekend away - and the location was great, both to walk into Daylesford and for a longer walk to Hepburn. Two bathrooms and a large lounge and dining area meant we had plenty of room.

Eight girlfriends who love to chat, discuss books and share a glass of wine. We've been doing this for 10 years but never beyond our local hood. This was a special weekend to celebrate the anniversary, good friendship, explore Daylesford and immerse ourselves at the Clunes Book Festival. York House was our choice and it was the perfect choice for us. Incredibly well located and spacious. Plenty of rooms, incredibly well-equipped kitchen and lounge area.

Future guests can expect a clean, neat property with great cooking facilities, plenty of crockery & eating utensils, large bedrooms, great bathrooms, spacious living areas and a lovely garden. The little touches of a welcoming vase of flowers from the garden and a welcome box of local goodies gave us a warm welcome to our accommodation. The convenience of the location within walking distance from the shops and various cafes, pubs and restaurants was fabulous. We thoroughly enjoyed the property and are sure that future guests would do the same.

Birdie is a gorgeous, welcoming, sunlit renovated cottage with comfy beds, open plan living, generous rooms and a large bathroom with a spa! The house is well appointed and really lovely. The location is in a quiet street so close to the main shopping promenade, supermarkets, restaurants, cafes and of course the wine and cheese bar where we spent a couple of evenings enjoying Daylesford. We really relaxed at Birdie and you will too.

Amazing property and one where a large group (say 8-10) can spread out or be all together quite easily. We took all we needed, so never left for the 3 days we were there. It was a beautiful property that accommodated our whole family (13 of us) perfectly, great space for the kids to play outside including the playground and to watch the kangaroos. We made use of the wood fire heaters which were a hit with the kids. Kitchen was fully equipped and the large indoor table accommodated all of us, it’s a shame that the weather wasn’t a bit warmer as the outdoor deck would of been perfect to use more.

A beautiful, very comfortable and well appointed house. We had a sensational 5 days as a family with 5 adults and a baby. Warm in the crisp autumn weather and furnished with all the little luxuries is was easy for us to make ourselves well at home at LaCroix! The beds were SO comfortable and the rooms spacious with a lovely lounge area to relax between outings. No complaints here, we will definitely be returning would highly recommend to travelers looking to explore Daylesford and surrounds.

Beautiful, comfortable, cosy and luxuriously equipped for friends coming together. The property has everything you need whether walking the local trails and around the lake or snuggling down with a book. There are little things you notice around the house everyday from flamingo lights to little eclectic touches here and there. The beds are wonderfully comfortable and bathrooms are sparkling and clean. This property is one that I look forward to revisiting.

Cosy weatherboard close to everything. We stayed during a particularly cold spell , and a lockdown, so spent all but half a day inside. Kitchen was sufficient for our needs. We loved the gas log fire Backyard was great for our small dog; very secure and tidy. We will return at another time for sure!

Our family holiday at Wombat Edge was a wonderful experience from start to finish. We were most impressed with the attention to detail and quality throughout, from the bed linen and towels, to the beautiful artwork, book collections and furniture. We were welcomed by a blazing and inviting fire on a cold winter’s day, and appreciated the plentiful supply of firewood – including provision for the outside fire pit - which saw us easily through our stay. Bedding options were flexible and perfect for our group, and each room of the home comes with everything you’d need to make the most out of your holiday – like the fully fitted-out kitchen with coffee options to last for days, a handy second drinks fridge and a full laundry with ample supplies. We loved enjoying Wombat Edge’s beautiful outside surrounds as much as getting comfortable inside, and made the most of the property’s lake, kayak, boat, basketball half-court, bikes, firepit, alfresco area and wandering around the property, taking in the sights and sounds of native wildlife and the well-considered landscaped gardens complete with handcrafted art works. Lyonville really turned it on for our stay and we were able to enjoy some sunny (but chilly!) days and nights exploring the neighbourhood. Special thanks to the owner who arranged for a left-behind item to be personally delivered to us back in Melbourne after our stay – we were most appreciative! Highly recommend Wombat Edge for your next central Victorian getaway.

My husband and I knew this cottage was going to be something special the moment that we arrived. The beautiful tall hedge enclosing the front terrace and the surrounding gardens creates a real sense of privacy and peace. Once you step inside, there is both space and cosiness all at once. The quality of the furnishings, fittings and linen really enhance the old world charm of this cottage and its location to everything you would want to see or do is just outstanding. Wow, we were literally all lost for words when we checked in. One of the best places I have stayed in. No pictures or words could justify just how beautiful and cozy it is. There is so much to do, we didn’t feel like leaving. A massive plus also were the beds, they were so comfortable. Also the house was sparkling clean. Will definitely be back.

Absolutely amazing Stay! This barn would have to be right at the top of the list of any accomodation I’ve stayed in, such a beautifully styled barn. For a group of 8 it slept everyone perfectly, the beds were amazing! The barns in the perfect location, 5 minute walk from the Main Street in town, the Sunday markets are literally a 1 minute walk and Cliffy’s emporium is out the front on the doorstep for all those brunch lovers!! I will definitely be coming back to the Barn that’s for sure!

We had the most wonderful stay at Wombat Edge Lyonville. The house is sparkling clean, stylish and very comfortable for a large family. With so many amenities and thoughtful touches it definitely felt like a home away from home. Views from every room of the house are stunning and the private lake was an absolute highlight with swimming and canoeing each day. We booked for 2 nights and could easily have stayed for a week and not left the property. It's a very special place and our stay was just perfect.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Saint Inez! The space was beautifully styled, very cozy yet spacious and very clean. The location was ideal for us - right opposite a local pub and The Virgin cafe which does great food and coffee and was also dog friendly! The house is walking distance to the Hepburn Springs Reserve for those wanting to go on bush walks and an easy drive into the main strip of Daylesford. For those with pets, we found Saint Inez fantastic as the front yard was fully enclosed and our dog loved people watching from the Verandah. Check in and check out was also super easy. Highly recommend!

Wombat Edge is a beautiful location with all the amenities you could possibly ask for from a fully functional indoor fireplace to a exquisite lake with kayaks and rowboats to go with it. A truly exceptional location and would highly recommend to any groups that are looking to relax and enjoy the countryside.

The house (church conversion) is exactly as you see in the photos and then even better where you cannot see. The grounds are immaculate, the location serene and full of lovely bird-life - kookaburras visited every day, gorgeous. The welcome pack of incredible fresh herbs, bread, delicious local eggs, marmalade and teas, with a flower arrangement that would win awards, made it extra special. The additional bonus of games and books (resident Yahtzee champion, me!) warm throws, comfy nooks and so much to do in and out (Radio Springs Hotel around the corner for a cracking first night dinner). In short ... actually, this is rather long, we loved it! Thank you so much.

Lithia is a dream - we didn’t want to leave! Stunning views from a beautifully appointed guest house, we particularly loved watching the sun rise and set and the kangaroos hopping in the valley. Close enough to all that you would want to explore in Daylesford and surrounds, yet you feel very much like you are in your own private sanctuary. 100% recommend and we hope to return ourselves.

Wow!!!! We booked this place not fully realising how amazing it was going to be. On arrival I honestly could have cried.. a bit dramatic I know but with 5 kids, the youngest being 5 month old twins.., and the past few months being housebound with all the covid issues this couldn’t have been more perfect. My hubby said the lake and the boat reminded him of the scene from The Notebook .. lol. The extra little cabin which is separate from the house is a cute point of difference. My 12 year old absolutely loved the canoe! The HUGE comfy (non leather) couch is the reason I actually booked this place. Most other places have a tiny cold leather couch, not something I would like with my big family. There is a cupboard full of games so don’t pack any! A kids lounge area, books all around the home If you like reading, a Basketball court. Kangaroos greeted us daily at dusk and dawn. I could go on and on.. don’t look through anymore options just book this place!! We will definitely book this place again! I wish it was mine!!

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage, the inside decor was so gorgeous and it really felt like a home away from home. An amazing bookshelf filled with books, an open fire place with wood that was left for us and a very comfortable king sized bed. There is also heating and an electric blanket for even more comfort. The cottage was spotless with great kitchen amenities and a large fenced backyard for our two dogs that joined us on the trip. Only a short distance from town too. We look forward to returning sometime, and highly recommend this stay. You won’t be disappointed!

When I saw the photos of this property I thought it looked great. However, in real life it is so much more and absolutely beautiful. The house is decorated so nicely and has so many features and detailed finishings. We had 8 adults stay, and there was plenty of room for us all. We all commented on how many little areas of the house you could go and sit if you did want some time alone. Our stay was in winter and there are ample heaters around the house. It was so warm and cozy. Location is great, walking distance to Main Street and lake. My family and I highly recommend this property if you are staying in Daylesford!

Do yourself a favour and take the trip to wombat edge, backing off a national park it really does feel like you are in your own little oasis. With a large lake to play on, plenty of fire places, king beds and a kitchen that will make a chef happy you all the luxuries to have an amazing weekend away with some friends or family are there. This one is a must in my opinion.

Our family had a wonderful long weekend at Wombat Edge. We arrived to a beautifully clean and welcoming home. Little lamps and cosy rugs in every room. It made for a very relaxing and comfortable stay. The owners had thought of everything from games to books, bikes, cricket bats, tennis rackets and even a canoe and little boat to use on the lake. The surrounding gardens were wonderfully kept. We didn’t see our children for most of the day on Saturday as they had so many things to keep them active outside including a basketball ring! The love is definitely in the detail and that’s what you get when you stay at Wombat Edge. Thankyou!

Lorien is simply beautiful. The house is well appointed, comfortable and exudes a feeling of relaxed country living at its best. The well maintained and beautiful gardens are full of birdlife and native animals. It has a sense of space, privacy and serenity. My family enjoyed every minute of our four days there, lounging around, reading, eating, catching up and generally not doing much at all. A lovely spot, with an easy drive to Daylesford cafe's and shops that was no trouble at all. It you want a bit of space & a dose of nature, this place is perfect.

This tranquil and beautifully furnished property exceeded our expectations. The large natural gardens attracted several kangaroos in the morning which could be seen from the open glass shower in the downstairs bathroom. The open living space was lovely in front of the wood fireplace. Bedding and bedroom heating were also excellent. We look forward to returning.

Hardwood house is very stylish and tastefully decorated. It is an easy walk to Convent Gallery, Wombat gardens and the main Street. It was beautiful, well equipped, stylish and convenient.

We had a fantastic family holiday at The Bird House over Christmas/ New Year! The house is very well appointed and beautifully decorated and comfortably accommodated our group of 9. We loved sitting out on the deck in the evenings with a glass of wine and exploring the local surrounds (Daylesford, Trentham, Kyneton etc) during the day. The agent was responsive to all our requests and the check-in process was very straightforward. We would highly recommend The Bird House for a family holiday!

We had an amazing long weekend at this place. Having stayed at many Airbnb’s in Daylesford over the years, this one was definitely the best. It’s beautifully decorated and much larger than we expected. The weather was cooler than we were anticipating but the house stayed amazingly warm with the hydronic heating and the gas fireplace gave the place a warm homely feel.

An amazing pad perch above the main street. The house has everything you need and loads of space for a big group. Super comfy and clean. The weather wasn't great when we visited so we didn't get to make the most of the huge rooftop terrace - but there's always next time!

'The Gums' is very peaceful and in a beautiful location. Nearby Daylesford is only a short drive away. We enjoyed seeing the wildflowers in the bush, the adjacent farms and being able to wander through the property and along the adjoining lane. Our aged parents loved being around family and having the opportunity to enjoy the serenity. The rest of the family- who are in their 20's, also had a wonderful time. We particularly liked spending time on the deck, watching the birds and other wildlife, as we enjoyed the views. The house is well laid out, well kept and clean. It was great to see some of the features of the original cottage thoughtfully preserved after its renovation and extension. A beautiful place to stay in a magnificent location.

We stayed here over Christmas with a group of 10 people and found the space to be ideal for large groups. It had a large table (both inside and out) for everyone, the kitchen was very well stocked and the sleeping spaces were very clean and roomy. Would highly recommend.

The Oxford is a beautiful place for a big group. All the rooms with King bedrooms makes this a very comfortable and spacious holiday accomodation for families travelling with kids. The landscaping and gardening is beautifully done and our time here was a mesmerising experience. I must say the Kitchen was more than equipped with necessary amenities and ancillaries, which made our culinary adventures quite memorable. I will recommend The Oxford to anyone.

Splinters cottage really exceeded all my expectations. The location is second to none in Daylesford in my opinion. The accommodation was new, immaculately clean, the decor tasteful, and the view of Lake Daylesford from some of the main rooms of the house and from the back verandah were to die for. The cafe next door was a luxury we did not expect. Agency was quick with their responses to our enquiries and the checking in process was easy and seamless. We have already recommended Splinters cottage to friends. Will definitely be back ourselves.

The Lodge is located a comfortable walk out of Daylesford with the privacy of land around the home you can enjoy tea on the deck with kangaroos in the morning, dinner around there enormous dinning table and wine by the fire. The Lodge was a perfect location for our girl’s weekend away. Well-appointed, wonderfully clean, comfy beds and conveniently located. Check-in and check out was a breeze. An excellent spot for a large group or families to use as a base to explore Daylesford and all the area has to offer!

What a perfect home for bringing family groups together! We stayed here with eight adults and eight children under 10 and the house fit us perfectly. There are so many options for entertaining the kids, including a playground, a pool table, a big tv for movies, a huge table outside for craft, a fire pit and a big patch of grass for running around. The grown ups were able to have really good conversations while also keeping an eye on the kids. The house is walking distance into town and to Lake Daylesford and just a five minute drive from the spa. We had a fantastic time and absolutely loved The Lodge.

Maggies is exceptional - It is so beautifully decorated and furnished and spotlessly clean. It had everything we needed for our stay. Very comfortable beds and quality linen made for very peaceful sleep. We stayed with 3 other couples and all our rooms were gorgeous and comfortable. The kitchen was the hub with plenty of room for everyone, and the lounge was equally so lovely to sit in. We loved that we could walk up to the Cosmo, Red Beard Bakery, Trentham Collective etc. We enjoyed sitting on the sunny veranda in the late afternoon. We were so HAPPY 10/10.

STAY STAY STAY - this is one on the most unique properties I've ever been too. It was so quirky and well equipped that we were able to enjoy ourselves so much, relax and host a dinner party for 8 people. Trentham is a great, a much quieter option than Daylesford. We simply loved it.

We had a very enjoyable weekend at Maggies and were most impressed by the extraordinary decor and attention to detail of the whole property. Our dealings when booking were seamless and we can wholeheartedly recommend Maggies. It is a five minute walk into the local shops including two excellent hotels and the wonderful Red Beard bakery. Maggie’s is a fabulous place to stay. It was a beautiful home to use as our base for exploring Trentham. The house is true to the pictures on the website - yes there are that many cushions! The beds are super comfy, the rooms are a joy to spend time in and the kitchen has everything that you need if you plan on eating in.

We’ve just spent the weekend here with my folks (so 6 of us including 2 young children) and had a wonderful time. This place is exactly as you’d expect from the photos. Everything is immaculate and feels new and clean. It is a spacious, charming space with a beautiful established garden. It is close to the main street, but down a quiet side street; we only heard birdsong all weekend. We didn’t want for anything and it felt luxurious and cosy warm in the icy, wet weather. The hosts responded promptly to our messages and were great to deal with. Highly recommend.

Fantastic house in the heart of Daylesford. Easy walking access to Main Street and Lakes. House itself is beautiful - each room has its own personality and the level of small architectural detail exceeds what is shown in the photos. Would stay again without hesitation. Perfect place for a quality bottle of wine in front of the fireplace or a coffee outside on the warmer mornings.

Thank you for an amazing place to stay. Stepping into the house we were all very happy with the style and homely feel to the house. We loved that the heater was on and we were welcomed to a warm house as soon as we entered. The house was clean, comfortable and had all that we needed for a lovely weekend away. St Etienne was simply stunning - the house was beautifully styled, comfortable and spotless. Stayed with my 2 sisters - we each loved our king bed rooms and cosy lounge areas. And so close to Daylesford Lake and the main shopping precinct. Cannot wait to stay again!

The perfect house for a Daylesford getaway! Every room was beautiful decorated and extremely cosy. The bedrooms were spacious with very comfortable beds. Heating throughout the house was excellent. The kitchen has everything we needed and more! We loved spending time on the deck, which was so private, with no other houses in sight. We went for wonderful walks around this area and Daylesford is less than a ten minute drive away. We would definitely return to this property!

This is a true gem of a home. The finishes and amenities are exceptional. It lends itself well to having a long, slow dinner at the kitchen table with friends and family. ... and for anybody who loves to cook, this is a great kitchen to do so, with quality appliances. 7 girlfriends came together from all over the country to celebrate a special friends milestone birthday. This house was perfect for us, lovely and clean, the garden was gorgeous to stroll around, the alfresco area was perfect to sit, chat, laugh and enjoy some bubbles and the lounge areas were great for those that just needed some down time. Daylesford was full of beautiful food (The Lakehouse.....perfect!) Massages and facials and lots of shopping. We will definitely be back!!

The best description is WOW!!!!!!! Super Accommodation with Super Hosts you need to put L'Papillon on your bucket list. One of the many stand out features for me was the Bed Linen it is out of this world, the most luxurious.

A truly magical space. The house is set on a tranquil, large and private block a 5-7min drive from Daylesford. We were greeted each morning by kangaroos! Inside, the layout is clean, modern and incredibly liveable. We wish we could have stayed longer. Will definitely stay again when we visit next.

A beautiful church conversion on a quiet property with lovely a lovely lawn and spring flowers. We enjoyed brunches in the main space with our friends, with the warm yellow light coming through the stained glass windows. The welcome basket was a lovely touch as well.

An absolutely beautiful home! A definite recommendation for some time-out in a stunning location, only a few minutes from Daylesford town centre. We thoroughly enjoyed our long-weekend without living the home - and the wonderful amenities made our visit all the more comfortable. A stay you truly won't forget!

Gabion Hill is stunning and the property and all the animal inhabitants are gorgeous. We stayed for a work retreat and had the perfect amount of space to get some work done, and then take a few walks to the creek to clear our heads. We’d stay again in a heartbeat.

This is a wonderful, restful location with a lot of style. It comfortably catered for our 6 guests across 3 generations. It’s peaceful and beautiful and we’ve returned home feeling rejuvenated. Comfy beds and a well equipped kitchen made the stay even more enjoyable. The kids loved the animals and the native wildlife. We can’t wait to return.

Gabion Hill is a haven, which exudes style. Everything about this place is perfect. The house is beautifully designed and the grounds private, full off beautiful animals and wildlife, it was a great escape from the city. Don’t hesitate to stay here, it truly is a special place.

We had the most lovely stay at Gabion Hill, it is in such a beautiful quiet spot. We applaud the eco sustainable design of this house which is also beautifully decorated. The views from the floor to ceiling windows of the surrounding trees and sky are pretty. Kangaroos grazing at dawn on the lawn and what a delight to watch the activity of a resident family of 3 magpies. Thank you for allowing us to create very special birthday memories here.

Gabion Hill is the first property we have rented in the world that offered more than what was described in its listing. Fantastic home with everything we needed for a family weekend away. Privacy, gorgeous interiors that were comfortable and perfect for the setting. Amazing kitchen with everything we needed. Sharp quality knives and excellent coffee machine Heaven! Large property to wander - fed the chickens our leftovers and a few carrots for the ponies! Gorgeous home!

Gabion hill was the perfect place to reconnect with girlfriends, laugh and enjoy good coffee without leaving the property. The property is incredible and presented immaculately! The highlight was being able to enjoy quiet moments on the deck in the most beautiful of surroundings with a good book. Watching the sun rise through the trees and meeting native wildlife is a sight I will never forget. Thank you for the most magical stay! I can’t wait to return with my family ! Lovely stylish property about 5 minutes from the general store, great coffee and dining, and 15 mins to Daylesford. We had a great weekend super comfy beds and lovely touches, a quiet serene place to relax without any intrusion.

The house is an easy walk into town, not far from the Convent Gallery, and across the road from the Wombat Hill Botanic Gardens and Cafe. Set in a lovely garden with a gorgeous Japanese pink cherry blossom in full bloom, generous interiors and well equipped kitchen. A wonderfully restful weekend in Daylesford.

We had such a relaxing and incredible stay for our party of 10. We couldn't have expected anything better than what we walked into. Every room was beautifully furnished and the house was so cosy and welcoming. So peaceful and calming we actually forgot we were smack bang in the middle of town. Cannot recommend this property enough to anyone who wants to be wowed by the charm and charisma of this home. Thank you, for such a wonderful experience!

Our entire family stayed at The Mayfair, (three generations) for our annual family catch up. We all agreed that this was our best ever catch up yet. The house accommodated all our needs so easily, young kids played through the house like it was a secret treasure chest, some of us mature ones sipped port by the roaring fire and others lazed around on our gorgeous king sized beds. There was a constant flow of family members throughout the house the whole weekend, not needing the car once. The location was brilliant giving the adolescent kids flexibility and independence to roam the main street and for others some well needed quiet time. We all said it felt like we slept on clouds. Couldn't recommend it enough.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful property. The house is better than the photos, beautifully decorated and very spacious and comfortable. It had everything we needed and the location was excellent. Highly recommend.

From the moment we walked in, we all felt like we were transported away from our day to day cares. This cottage is so thoughtfully decorated and put together, it's like a little oasis surrounding us with literature and natural beauty. Plus we were able to let our puppy run around the yard freely. Although on a main road it was very quiet. Fences on two sides are about waist high, adjoining bushland. Beautiful beds & linens, electric blankets, ample towels and redgum, two lovely decks which would be great in sunny weather. Walkable to the main street with a big off lead dog park a few minutes away. Otherwise have a good glass of red and sit by the fire as it rains outside.

We had a fantastic stay at Mayfair. We were a group of 14 women and there was plenty of space for us to comfortably fit both in our rooms and in the communal spaces. It is very close to town and it was so easy for us to walk everywhere. The photos and description is very accurate. Communication with the team was very prompt and easy! Couldn’t recommend the place high enough!

The train is a lovely, small cottage, with all of the amenities needed to act as a base for exploring the surrounding area. The bed was comfy and the shower was spacious. It's located about 5 minutes from the town centre (by foot), so it was easy to pop-in for a meal or supplies. I'd definitely reccomend for anyone wanting basic, comfy accommodation.

Super fun place for a couple. The train carriage is a cozy space perfect for a couple on a weekend getaway. Short walk to town and to the Lakehouse Restaurant. Great bathroom and extensive and well-appointed kitchen. We bought our dog who loved the enclosed garden and had a great couple of nights. Although we were there in the middle of winter the outdoor space looked awesome and would have been amazing to sit out and watch the sunset during the warmer months.

This house is beyond beautiful. It’s exceptionally stylish and clean. All necessities were provided. We didn’t want to leave! We had such a great time and would definitely recommend Ascona to all our friends! Thanks for the awesome accomodation.

We highly recommend this holiday house. We loved the place and will definitely return. It was so cozy and inviting. The land it is on is beautiful and we loved using the fire place. The children enjoyed having a treasure hunt amongst the trees and kicking the ball outside. All of the little touches made the stay perfect.

What a beautiful spot to spend a relaxing winter weekend! We loved the fireplace and the stunning decor of the cottage, whilst the large garden was a wonderful surprise. Beds are super comfy, kitchen reasonably well equipped and rooms are spacious and welcoming. This was the perfect spot for a weekend out of the city and in a great location to explore Daylesford. Incredible stay! It was everything we expected and more. The little finishing touches made us feel that bit more welcomed and the views were just incredible. When we arrived the fireplace was already on, so it felt amazing just walking in from out of the cold and cozying up around it. They were so friendly to deal with as well, had quite a few laughs with them. Could not recommend this place more!!

Beautiful property and home to temporarily call your own, just a short distant from Daylesford. The amazing indoor fire place and open living space created a beautifully warm setting to share with friends and family. Wake up with the birds and the views of gorgeous countryside, wander around the property or take a drive into town. You won’t want to leave! This place is stunning! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will absolutely be back!!!

Lovely space. The kitchen is easy to use, the kitchen/dining/living space is double glazed and easy to warm up in winter, the fire is easy to run. Gorgeous bathroom, simple, cosy bedrooms. We'll be back again soon!

A wonderful place to spend time with friends. Very clean and had everything we required for a fun filled weekend. Even for a chilly winter break! Beds were really comfortable, the bathrooms spacious, and a lovely home away from home. The fire place was well worth firing up, too, as it gave warmth and a great ambience. Would definitely recommend staying at Pear Alley!!!

Olive Cottage was absolutely stunning. We loved every minute sitting in front of that beautiful fire place and so did our dog! The house is surrounded by greenery that makes you feel like you have been transported to your own little secret, peaceful hide away. The cottage itself is stylish, cosy and filled with thoughtful touches, hundreds of books and amazing interiors. You won’t want to leave. Already looking at booking our next weekend! Thank you!

Tuscany Villa is lovely. Extremely comfortable and beautifully decorated in the Tuscan theme. The kitchen is well appointed and the bathrooms are both a very good size. Downstairs bedroom is lovely and a good size but the upstairs area has the wow factor. It has a bedroom, sitting room, bathroom and walk in wardrobe with a huge picture window. There is a courtyard outside which has an eating area which would be perfect to use on a warm night. We arrived on a cold day and found the heater had been lit for us which was extremely thoughtful. The house is also situated in a quiet street but only a few blocks away from the town centre. I give this house 10/10.

Tuscany Villa is absolutely wonderful. Cannot fault this property. We could walk everywhere and it was perfect for our weekend away with another couple. It is very stylishly furnished and a treat to stay at. We loved the courtyard area. Will be back as there is so much to do around the Daylesford area and would book Tuscany Villa again.

My partner and I spent two beautiful nights at Tuscany Villa, and it was superb. This Villa is appointed in such a central position with tree lined streets and views from upstairs looking out over Daylesford and charming garden. The sunsets are amazing. Great to communicate with and gave us excellent recommendations for the area. I highly recommend Tuscany Villa for anyone’s stay in Daylesford, so clean and furnished beautifully, what a beautiful part of the world.

Had a lovely girls weekend away in Daylesford and staying at Tuscany Villa made it even more special! As soon as we walked into the Villa , we felt at home as it is has everything you needed. We were impressed with the big spacious bedrooms, 2 modern bathrooms , lovely outdoor area & cosy living space. The upstairs is perfectly designed with a spacious retreat to a large bedroom & stunning views. The level of cleanliness was outstanding , one of the cleanest accomodations I have ever stayed at ( and i have travelled the world).Tuscany is also walking distance to shops, restaurants, Daylesford market, convent gallery & wombat gardens.

Fabulous escape in sleepy Guildford! This property is a gem, very hip & comfortable and equiped with everything you need for a great weekend away!

Ascona is a wonderful house, spacious, bright and both close enough to Hepburn springs to walk in a few minutes while still giving you the peace and quiet of nature. The property is very well set up and has an amazing kitchen for those that want to cook. Definitely recommend it as a place to stay.

This beautiful home has a 5 star quality and feel and is immaculately clean. It is located close to shops and easy nature walks. It is so spacious we had no problem with two families sharing. The fireplace is a perfect place to relax with a glass of wine while the kids play in the lounge downstairs. The kitchen had everything we needed even though we opted for local pizza delivery which was delicious. I would highly recommend this gorgeous home and we will definitely be back again.

We stayed in this house for a girls weekend away and it was perfect. The location is great- the house backs right onto the lake and it’s a short walk everywhere (we didn’t use the car once all weekend). The best thing was the huge living area , there are two big comfortable couches which is perfect for big groups. Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom which was also very convenient. The kitchen was supplied with everything you could want and MORE. Plenty of platters, different size bowls, variety of mugs and glasses, literally everything! I would definitely stay here again and can’t think of anything negative about it!

Great little cottage. Not a huge space, but very comfortable for 2 plus a baby in our case. Very cosy, the heating is very good. Location outstanding, just around the corner from all the pubs and cafes you could want. Good communication and thoughtful items left for our stay. Would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at Lithia Guesthouse. The surroundings were beautiful, the guesthouse was modern and interesting. The locals treats were much appreciated and a great touch. The shower, fire and beds were great. Overall, we loved our stay and didn't want to leave.

We thought Olive Cottage was a homely and beautiful space. We wish we could have stayed longer. We loved the wood fire and the huge bookcase. The interiors are great and the collection of books, art and antique pieces made it extra special. The backyard and two deck areas were surprisingly big and peaceful surrounded by large trees.

A magical space to truly experience the best of Daylesford. Walk out the door down the stunning rock path past the honking geese to stroll around the picturesque lake. Walk up to town for the best shopping, food and art in the country. Relax in the well appointed rooms and snuggle up on the enormous couches in front of the fire playing games, chatting, laughing, enjoying the cleverly arranged object d’art. Drive a short way to a lavender farm, sculpture garden, Diggers Garden, Hanging Rock and little towns that take your breath away with their beautiful trees and gardens and quality food offerings. It’s so sumptuous here! A great long weekend away. Need to come back. Only chipped away at what’s on the menu!

Galah Goldfields is a lovely little cottage with great facilities and a homely yet sophisticated feel...We loved the view of grazing kangaroos, magical sunsets, and starry skies. Having this 80 acre property all to ourselves was such a relaxing escape for us. The owners of this property certainly made us feel at home with their local tips and an invitation to help ourselves to their very well stocked veggie/herb patch ... Thank you to all involved ...we will be back for sure ....5 stars!

Perfectly situated, Olive cottage was a lovely spot for a surprise getaway. Carefully curated, it feels stylish but also comfortable and homely. Fireplace, bespoke bed linen and warm finishes makes this miners cottage a real little hidden gem. Beautiful views of the forest from the kitchen and back deck, we would love to return soon.

Lady Scarlett is well appointed, spacious and immaculately maintained 3 double bedroom house just minutes walk from the main street in Daylesford. We arrived on a cold, dark Friday night and it was great to get there with heating and lights already on. The house was ideal for 3 couples and location-wise couldn't be in a better spot from which to explore and enjoy all Daylesford has to offer. All communication & instructions were very clear and timely.

A gorgeous, cosy home in a private location. A short drive from Daylesford. A perfect escape for a wintery weekend away. The house has plenty of heating and room to relax. We were greeted by a kookaburra on the front deck each morning. Immaculately clean.

The Coachhouse is gorgeous! Beautifully styled double bedrooms with great living spaces allows plenty of fun for groups and families but enough space to not be on top of one another and all still relax. Kids bunk room is perfect to throw them all in together while parents can still enjoy a luxurious bedroom. The balconies were an unexpected benefit. Essentially providing an extra two beautiful living spaces to hang out with gorgeous (and very different) views of Daylesford. Perfectly positioned for chasing sun or shade depending on your preference. Couldn't have been better. It very comfortably accommodated my parents, and my two siblings and families.

I booked the Coach House because my husbands 60th was at the Daylesford Cidery. Our friends were definitely impressed! The house was spacious, clean, warmth was not an issue, beds extremely comfortable. Would highly recommend this outstanding, historic building for a group gathering!

We had a girls weekend away. The Coach House easily accommodated the 14 guests. We visited one of the day spas. It was an easy walk to the boathouse for lunch. Numerous restaurants for dinner within walking distance. We had breakfast on the verandah overlooking the lake it was so relaxing! The large couches were comfy as were the beds. There was air conditioning in every bedroom. Everything we needed was on hand. A wonderful weekend had by all. Would highly recommend staying here!

This three bedroom, three bathroom apartment is perfect for a family or several couples. It is spacious, stylish, cosy and has everything you need for a stay. Amazingly comfortable beds, heater/aircon in each bedroom plus a big heater for the living area. Lovely decor, wi-fi and lots of crockery, cutlery, platters and cooking facilities. The location is also perfect. Just step out the back door and path around Lake Daylesford- an easy, mostly flat path through very scenic woodlands. Also it is just a 5 minute walk to Lake House if you are dining there during your stay. Highly recommended.

Langdon House is the perfect place for a large group to enjoy Daylesford! Close enough to walk to town and the lake, far enough away that you feel like you are alone in the mountains! The house has everything you could want, well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, games and enough seating area for all to enjoy without feeling crowded. The spa is amazing to have a soak in the evening watching the wildlife that comes onto the property (kangaroos 20m away (the spa is fenced in)) & sitting on the deck in the morning with a cuppa watching the birds and enjoying the expansive views was soo relaxing! I highly recommend Langdon house for girls weekends, family groups etc. you won't be disappointed!

Perfectly located less than 10 minutes walk from the shops and restaurants of Daylesford with lovely views across the countryside. Heritage property which has been beautifully refurbished with modern touches. Very peaceful and quiet. Seamless check in, very responsive hosts, spotlessly clean. 2 bathrooms with a deep, designer bathtub and a powerful rain shower. We had a great stay.

Highly recommend this home. They have thought of everything and it made for a very relaxing and enjoyable few days. Great for families. A wine by the fire, board games, ideal for cooking...we loved it!

This is good value for money if you are after a great location, cozy relaxing interiors, and calming views. The place was sparkling clean and all set for us to check in, the heater was already on so it was nice and warm. Overall it was a hassle free relaxing getaway where almost everything we cared about was taken care of.

This accommodation is amazing from top to bottom- there is no denying the style, the comfort, the lighting, the surroundings, the compfy beds, the great pub around the corner, everything is totally perfect ! What a wonderful weekend we had and would absolutely highly recommend this place to stay.

The Lyonville church is outstanding accommodation. Beautiful renovation, spectacular gardens and a local food hamper-delicious! Great place to stay if you are visiting the Radio springs hotel or would like a quiet spot to stay whilst visiting the area.

From the moment we walked into The Church we felt peace and relaxation descend upon us. It really is a beautiful place with everything you need. Secluded and quiet - I haven't slept so well in ages. The tray of goodies was appreciated. Furnishings, crockery, appliances etc are all top quality. A great base to stay in to explore the area or just stay and enjoy the heavenly serenity.

Church at Lyonville was just the weekend break we needed from busy lifestyles. The Church is beautifully appointed, super comfy and comes with everything needed to be self-contained. The beautiful fresh produce hamper was such a pleasant surprise and packed with so much delicious local fare. So much thought has gone into this unique beautiful accommodation, can't wait to come back but for a longer stay next time.

The Mayfair House was charming and offered everything we had hoped for with all our family staying for the weekend. Highly recommend.

Amazing location and view at the house. It’s a great place to unwind and chill.. Comfy beds, log fire and super relaxing couches make for a great space to relax. Lots of walking around the area but again that view from the house is just so awesome.. will stay longer next time.

We had a wonderful time during our stay. Being a converted train carriage it had so much charm, and was actually quite spacious considering! Great location within easy walking distance of the center of town, and dog friendly so we could bring our dog with us. Great views as well, and all in all a lovely place to stay. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in daylesford.

We stayed with 6 people and were very comfortable - plenty of room for more people with several living areas, balcony, patio, backyard.

We had the most relaxing stay at Ascona, the accommodation has all the provisions you would want from luxury accommodation. It was cosy and warm, comfortable and spacious. The open plan living, kitchen, dining was perfect for spending time with each other but we could also escape to our own rooms (or suites) which all included en-suite, tv, and private balconies overlooking the bush. We were close proximity to bars and restaurants, a short and stunning walk to Hepburn Springs mineral springs and only a few km drive to all Daylesford has to offer. We will definitely return to this beautiful house.

"I had the pleasure of spending my Hens night with 8 of my girlfriends at The Mayfair, Daylesford. We had no idea how extraordinary the house was. We had plans to go out, instead, we played in the house all night.The dramatic feeling of the red velvet curtains, cathedral ceilings and plenty of grand rooms to roam, dance, chat, eat was so much fun. Being so close to everything in town also enabled us the flexibility of wandering out and about without having to plan drivers etc. The Mayfair totally exceeded all my friend's expectations including my own and is a weekend that we will treasure forever."

One Bee provides a neat and tidy, comfortable and very clean little weekend stay for a couple in a lovely spot adjacent the delightful Wombat Hill Botanical Gardens. It’s about a 15 minute pleasant walk, or very short drive to the town centre.

The front part of the cottage that is rented out is lovely. Very clean and the decor is great. The cottage is very close to Wombat Hill Gardens and walking distance to the heart of Daylesford. I recommend a hot cuppa on the porch in the evening!

Great location, beautiful house. It’s right across from the botanical garden, and just minutes away from the twin center! Everything is just as it looks in the photos. The place was clean and we were provided with very comfortable bedding and even an electric blanket to ensure it was nice and warm through the night. Bathroom had good heating too. The kitchen was stunning. We had everything we needed to make ourselves a good breakfast on top of the oats, cereal, coffee and tea provided.

An amazing place located walking distance from town. The backyard is absolutely amazing with beautiful trees and plants all around. So much colour and beauty! A very comfortable stay to unwind and relax. Would definately come again.

This compact, but deliciously furnished and incredibly comfortable and warm (it was cold) accomodation suited us perfectly. It was private and close to everything. We would also love to come back in summer when we can throw the doors to the verandah open and breathe that sweet country air. In all, a splendid stay.

Red Cottage is an absoutely lovely place to stay. It is located in a very quiet spot, yet within a few minutes walk into town. Everything was well provided for, including good mueli for breakfast. The spa bath is lovely, & so relaxing. We were warm with the two heaters. The bed was very comfortable, & warm. The hosts, Theresa & Tony, were fantastic with their quick responses.

The Ivy Cottage is a fantastic place to stay, especially for a couple. It’s beautifully styled and the bath is lovely. Being located so close to the Main Street and being able to walk wherever we needed to was a real benefit. Would definitely recommend to others and would love to return again!

What a delightful weekend! We knew the property was gorgeous but we didn’t realise just how perfect it was! The unit was so cosy and clean. Perfectly positioned in the midst of Daylesford town. Walking distance to restaurants, pubs, attractions such as the Convent Gallery and The Lake. Short drive to vineyards and historic places in Ballarat. Warm and cosy, clean and comfortable with nice touches like chocolate, biscuits and dip, muesli and milk left for us. Enjoyed every minute of our stay.

Lovely place to stay. Convenient to Daylesford town (down a hill!) and very close to sensational massage therapist (Marie at Alchemy 80 meters away). Beds were very comfortable with good bed-linen and heaps of pillows. The house has a great lay-out and light filled living space and with a neat private deck area with view over Daylesford. As a group of 6 women, we had a very comfortable stay in this accommodation. Beautifully presented and a great location to all that a visitor to Daylesford may want to access. The heating for the time of year that we were there, was great, truly appreciated upon our arrival in the very cool afternoon.

Great two bedroom cottage. Close to Daylesford lake and only a short stroll to main street (everything is pretty close in Daylesford 🙂 ) . Clean, tidy and well appointed space. Had everything we needed for a warm comfortable stay.

Warm, cosy and fresh. The place was so beautifully decorated, my friends and I were in love! It was super clean and fresh. And all the toiletries provided were lovely. In a great located just near the town. A great place to stay!

This house is AMAZING!! Such a beautiful space. Can not fault any part of it. The lounge area is great, two really comfy couches, a fireplace which turns on with one switch and lots of dvd's and magazines. The kitchen is really well equipped, has everything you need to cook (and good quality stuff, not crappy and cheap). The weber bbq was really easy to use and the decking area is great, with a view over to the mountains and the sunset was lovely. The house has central heating throughout which really came in handy for us, and each bedroom has super soft linen and comfy beds. Location is perfect walking distance to the shops and restaurants. I cannot recommend Azure enough, we look forward to visiting again in Summer.

The heaters were lovely, particularly considering it was <1C outside, we would never have known. The amenities were perfect for what we needed - the only thing we missed or should have packed ourselves, were face washers - for us and the kids. The Barn exceeded our expectations. It was nice and cosy with the fireplace and Aga over a cold weekend, soft fluffy pillows and comfy beds. The Barn was right around the corner to some great coffee - we would definitely stay again. MUST STAY DESTINATION!

Theresa was very accomodating when we arrived slightly before check-in, & was always super-swift in responding to messages. The barn was right next door to a cafe and a short stroll away from the centre of Daylesford. All amenities were top-notch; thoroughly recommend & would stay again!

The Barn is unique, close to cafes and the main strip and yet you can feel miles from anywhere . Three very comfortable beds, great country kitchen and every possible need catered for . We will be back in the cooler months

The Garden House is a beautiful house set in a romantic garden of hedges, gravel paths, vistas and deciduous trees. The house is large, warm, stylishly decorated and a lovely home away from home. Our extended family spent an enjoyable few days there in the depths of winter, so appreciated the wood burning heater and cosy atmosphere. It would be a beautiful place to visit in Spring when the weeping blossom trees would be flowering, along with bulbs and I think there is a wisteria twisting around the verandah. The house was exceptionally clean, with quality linen and towels, a well equipped kitchen, huge TV and very comfy beds. We would be happy to return!

An absolutely wonderful and homely place to stay, even for a chilly winter break! Beds were really comfortable, the bathrooms spacious, and a lovely home away from home. The pizza oven was well worth firing up, too!

The Station House exceeded all expectations and proved to be the perfect location for a short stay in Daylesford. The house is clean and tidy yet filled with many interior design features that ensured a true 'home away from home' feel. This house is like staying in a boutique hotel and art gallery all in one! The lounge area was warm and cosy and the kitchen well equipped. Tony and Theresa were so helpful even suggesting a local chef to provide our breakfasts and 80th birthday dinner celebration. Lovely house for a trip away with friends. The location was great as we were easily able to walk to the main street in about 15mins. Our hosts had plenty of board games which we enjoyed! It also had a good heating system to heat the house in the cold weather!

When we arrived the heating had been turned on so it was lovely and cosy. There were nine of us and it fitted us beautifully. It's a very comfortable and well-appointed house and perfectly located - I walked around the lake each morning and it's a five minute walk to the main street.

This house was the perfect get away for us. 5 women having a girls weekend from many parts of Australia. Appreciated the separate bedrooms and bathrooms. Great space for cooking, dining, lazing about chatting and reading. Walking distance to the lake, restaurants, shops and cafes. Beautiful furnishings yet relaxed and welcoming. This is a great place for a big family or group to stay for a weekend. Location is so close to the city centre that it is no more then a 5 minute walk. The house is fully equipped will all you would expect including for the kitchen, bathroom and living room.

Brilliant location close to wombat hill gardens as well as coffee shops and restaurants. The house is spacious, comfortable, cosy and warm. All the bedrooms are beautifully clean and feel luxurious and he kitchen is magnificently equipped for large groups. We cooked for 12 very easily. Vincent is an awesome host, responsive to any and all requests. We were a little surprised that the real cost was a lot more than the advertised price but we would go again as the house is brilliant for large numbers. A surprising combination of cosy, comfort and privacy for all.

The house was big and clean and well suited to our big family. So close to everything, A 2 minute walk to all shops and restaurants. I would recommend staying here and we will again. Everything you need is at the house.

We spent a magical eight nights at the Manor House and found it very hard to leave. The house is everything you'd want it to be - spacious living area, quiet rooms, comfy beds, clean bathrooms, lots of hot water, huge shady yard, lovely BBQ and outdoor space, big communal tables, fabulous cooking facilities, short walk to town and lovely hosts. The Manor House was beautiful. Gorgeous bedrooms. Beautifully styled. Our group of four families were able to share the home very comfortably, with great areas to dine and relax by the fire. Pretty Gardens and outdoor BBQ area. We truly had a great time.

A wonderful house with great facilities. We used it for a work strategy retreat and it was perfect with enough space for groups to break out for discussions and a wonderful shared space for team dinners.

This place is magnificent! Absolutely perfect in every way. Styling is devine, every room personalised. Location is fantastic, right in town and within easy walking distance to Coles, liquor store, shopping, restaurants, pool, lake etc. Kitchen well equipped for a large group, and a dishwasher for all those dishes too. Plenty of parking front and back for your large group. I loved the fact all 9 bedrooms were ensuited, you have the privacy of a hotel room, but still connected to your group with the living spaces. Also importantly enough seating in living and dining for everyone. Maps, tourist brochures and even a notepad provided. Everything has been thought of, your family and or friends will love this stay!

Gorgeous house, perfect for a large group. We were with our work team and everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom, which was ideal. Two living areas so plenty of space and very conveniently located to the supermarket, cafes, pubs etc. Highly recommend!

What a wonderful property! We had a group of friends (11) stay at Cedar and Stone to celebrate my husband's 45th birthday. Kitchen facilities and appliances were perfect for our self-catering needs as food lovers. Everyone commented how comfortable the beds were and we loved the large cosy lounges and the wood fire.

Recommendation : When 7 couples staying and sharing this wonderful accommodation, are organising individually what group of friends they could bring back to share such a fabulous stay, that says it all. All couples 100% satisfied.

Cedar and Stone was perfect for our big family gathering. 5 acres of land and plenty of space inside with lots of activities and cozy fires in and outdoors. The bedrooms were lovely, the kitchen amazing. A fantastic family or group retreat. Highly recommended.

Carrington House is a beautiful BIG house located 30second walk from Daylesford Main Street. Every bedroom has a ensuite and one bedroom has a sauna/steam room (we all took our turn using). The big couches and dinning table mean everyone can be included. We will definitely book again!

Thank you for the lovely house and provided accommodations for our group, mostly speakers for the Functional Hoof conference, and most of us were from the United States. The conference was just down the street at Town Hall. We had people from all over the world!
